Integrated payments and digital commerce companies, Interswitch has commenced its maiden edition of Job Shadowing Programme to upskill 2, 000 youths on emerging talents.
It said the move signals its steadfast dedication to nurturing emerging talent and enhancing capabilities within the continent’s tech sector.
Ali said: “With over 16,000 applications received, the selection process rigorously sifted through candidates to identify the 2,000 successful intakes who would be further split into 20 cohorts. This immense interest underscores the high demand for developmental opportunities within Africa’s burgeoning tech sector.
“We are delighted to kick off the Interswitch Job Shadowing Program, tailored to empower the next generation of African talent. At Interswitch, we recognize the transformative power of mentorship and hands-on learning in unlocking potential and driving innovation. Through this initiative, we aim to furnish professionals with the tools and support necessary to excel in their respective fields.”
