A popular shopping mall in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Palms Mall has been shut down, DAILY POST reports.
It was gathered that a yet to be identified man was allegedly killed at the mall located at Ring Road area of Ibadan Sunday night when policemen raided the mall. Sources told DAILY POST that some suspected internet fraudsters were taking Indian hemp when police arrived at the mall but while arguing with one of the youths, the victim attempt to escape.He was said to have been shot in the stomach and died in the process.The mall has been shut down indefinitely and taken over by the police as a result of the clash.
He said, “I first saw it online because I am on leave. I called one of our colleagues who confirmed the incident.
