The Senate is currently in a closed session with the Federal Capital Terrritory, FCT, Minister, Nysom Wike, and Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh. The Upper Legislative Chamber had earlier resolved to have the duo in session for security briefings over insecurity in the FCT.

It will be recalled that the Senate had held a marathon security briefing session with security chiefs, the Inspector General of Police,

Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, ministers and other relevant individuals over security challenges across the country.
