The South East Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Dozie Ikedife , has said that the insecurity in Anambra state is due to the lackadaisical attitude of the governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.Ikedife said there was no magic to fixing the security situation in Anambra, adding that any serious governor who desired to do so could actually do it.
“You ask yourself what the Governor of Enugu State is doing that Anambra State is not doing, what Ebonyi State Governor is doing, what Abia State Governor is doing that Anambra State is not doing and Imo State too. “The truth of the matter is that we have a governor who doesn’t care about the lives and property of its citizens that is why the security situation in Anambra State has deteriorated so badly.
“APC is going to bring on board a governor who will tackle the bad security situation in Anambra State in 100 days,” he stated.
