Insecurity: Arewa groups respond to Obasanjo’s letter to President Buhari
The Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, have observed that the only way out of the country’s lingering problems is through peaceful referendum.
Former President Obasanjo in his recent letter to President Buhari had suggested ways out of the present situations in the country with a view of practical discussion by relevant stakeholders towards ameliorate the problems. “If after about six decades of Independent existence, we still have not achieved true nationhood based on mutual trust and collective patriotism, the bold and necessary step to take should be a dispassionate review and renegotiation of the bond through a referendum.”
