The GT 20 Pro 5G, Infinix's latest gaming smartphone, is slated to officially launch in Malaysia on 2 May 2024. However, it appears that we might not have to wait that long for its price reveal, as local retailers have already fully listed the device on their respective online stores on Shopee.
If the information provided is to be believed, the Infinix GT 20 Pro 5G is set to debut at RM1,299. It will only be available in a single memory configuration, as well as three colourways: Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue. Additionally, it includes a Mecha Loop LED interface, which enables the selection of eight different colour combinations and four lighting effects, as well as featuring integration for games such as PUBG, MLBB and Free Fire. According to Infinix, users can personalise the lighting effects for various events such as incoming calls, notifications, charging, and music playback.
The phone also has a Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming display chip under the hood, making it the brand's first dual-chip device. The chip employs Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation game frame rate interpolation to boost the frame rates from 60 FPS to up to 120 FPS for a smooth gaming experience, while improving picture quality.Powering the GT 20 Pro 5G is a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support.
