Applications opened on September 18, 2026, and will close on November 18, 2026, at midnight. Interested candidates can apply through the INEC website, web portal, or designated Android application.
A file picture of INEC ad hoc staff The Independent National Electoral Commission has opened its portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2027 general election.the “ INEC PRES portal” for interested applicants was activated on Friday, September 18, 2026.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission will activate the INECPRES for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below,” the notice reads. “The activation of INECPRES on Friday, 18 September 2026 by 8:00am and closes on Wednesday, 18th November 2026 by 12 midnight. ” “The online application will be available on the INEC website via the link inecnigeria.org .
“The web version shall be accessible via the portal URL: pres.inecnigeria.org. “The android mobile app. shall be accessible via the link inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk,” it stated. The commission said interested applicants should use the designated INECPRES channels to complete their applications within the period specified for the exercise.
