A Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State has ordered the remand of two men, Olasunkanmi Olarewaju aka ‘Abore’ and Adeniyi Juwon also known as ‘Jboy’ for allegedly beating their colleague identified as Abiodun Oyinloye to death.
“During the investigation, you, Olasunkami Olarewaju aka Abore ‘m’ and Adeniyi Juwon aka Jboy ‘m’ both confessed to having conspired to beat Abiodun Oyinloye ‘m’ to death for stealing N65,000.”
The prosecutor, Gbenga Ayeni, urged the court to remand the suspects to a federal correctional facility in the state pending the conclusion of the investigation. In his ruling, the presiding Magistrate, Mr M. O. Abayomi, ordered their remand at the Federal Correctional Centre, Mandala, Ilorin.All rights reserved.
