Former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, has congratulated the state governor-elect, Bassey Otu.
The letter reads: “I write to congratulate you on your deserved victory as the governor-elect for Cross River State after a hard fought battle. Your emergence is a reflection of the fact that the will of the people must prevail.
“As you embark on the process of a transition to a new administration, we pray that God Almighty will guide and direct your steps as you prepare to provide the much-needed service and leadership to the good people of Cross River State.”
