The Imo State Government has given until Monday 18, 2020 for workers in the state to submit their Bank Verification Number as a requirement for salary payment.
He warned that any Head of ministries, agencies or parastatals who fails to comply with the government directives on or before Monday 18, 2020 will have themselves to blame. Emelumba noted that the stance against government guidelines as regards the E-payment policy is more than meets the eye, insisting that no responsible government would choose to remain docile in issues having to do with accountability and transparency.
