Police Imo has identified the corpse of a policeman found on a street in Owerri as Inspector Haruna Kaura, and believe he was murdered.
He was of the 18 Police Mobile Force, but attached to Imo Government House, Owerri, according to public spokesman SP Orlando Ikeokwu.It comes amidst heightened tension as the state recorded its first case of Covid-19.
