The Imo State Police Command has arrested three suspects allegedly responsible for the murder of traditional rulers of Amumara Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ngwurunweke Aboh Mbaise Local Government Areas of the state Eze J.B. Ochulor and Eze James Mirioma respectively.
Some criminal suspects arrested over alleged killing of two monarchs, DPO and ten other officers by the Imo State Police Command during their parade at the Command's headquarters, Owerri on Friday
The police spokesman gave the names of the suspects, who are all from Aboh Mbaise council of the state, as Olumachi Iheanacho, M, of Amato Umulolo Amuzu, Chisom Samuel, M, and Linus Odoemenam, M . Okoye said, “Following the IPOB/ESN terrorists murder of the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Ahiazu Mbaise, SP Magnus Abalu and Inspector Ikechukwu Nwanchor on 27/11/2023, the earlier killing of the two Traditional Rulers in Amumara Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ngwurunweke Aboh Mbaise Local Government Areas of Imo State; HRH Eze J.B. Ochulor and HRH Eze James Mirioma, murder of five Police Officers attached to Oke-Uvuru Police Division at Okpala Junction, Ngor-Okpala L.G.
