The federal commissioner for NPC for Imo State, Uba Nnabue, made the disclosure while interacting with Journalists in Owerri.According to him, registration of births and deaths contributes to show the population figures of a people.
Nnabue disclosed that the commission was fully prepared to conduct the 2023 census exercise before the postponement announcement. According to him, the commission had already recruited adhoc staff, conducted training and retraining of staff, including media engagements for the success of the project.
