Imo: One dead as NSCDC, armed robbers exchange bullets
DAILY POST reports that the operatives of NSCDC had opened fire on a group of armed robbers on sighting their presence, shooting one on the leg.
The state command PRO of NSCDC, Superintend Chimeziri Lowell while narrating the story, said that other gang members escaped as a result of being overpowered by the operatives of NSCDC. He said, “Investigation has commenced for possible arrest of other gang members. The reason for these armed robbers to come to Ojukwu Centre was to steal government valuable properties at the same.”
