Imo gets new Chief Judge
Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointment of Justice Ijeoma Agugua as the Acting Chief Judge of the State.The governor appointed Justice Agugua hours after the former Chief Judge, Justice Paschal Nnadi retired.
She is currently a member of International Bar Association Judges Forum and National Association of Women Judges of Nigeria Governor Uzodinma has reappointed the retiring Chief Judge of Imo State, Justice Paschal Nnadi as the chief technical adviser on judiciary. Speaking as a Special Guest at the valedictory session in honour of Justice Nnadi, on Thursday, the Governor harped on the need for independence of the judiciary.
