Imo Diaspora Support for Governor Hope Uzodimma has hailed the award of prestigious Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) to the governor of Imo State,
In a congratulatory message to the governor and made available to journalists from Finland, yesterday, the coordinator and convener of Imo Diaspora for Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ochiagha Nnanna Okere also celebrated the governor on his emergence as the chairman of the umbrella body of all governors in Nigeria elected under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress known as the Progressives Governors Forum .
The group with headquarters in Finland also noted that on Saturday, May 27, 2023 “your excellency senator Hope Uzodimma, the executive governor of Imo State was honoured with the highest award in Rivers State, the Grand Service Stars of Rivers State in recognition of your contributions to the unity and progress of the nation.”
Describing governor Uzodimma as the game changer who has revolutionized not only governance in Imo State and a shining example of what is possible in the South East, the group said he is a national asset that is getting the recognition that he deserved. The congratulatory message by the Imo Diaspora Support for Governor Hope Uzodimma reads in part, “On Saturday 27 May 2023, your excellency senator Hope Uzodimma, the executive governor of Imo State was honoured with the highest award in Rivers State, the Grand Service Stars of Rivers State in recognition of your contributions to the unity and progress of the nation.
