ICYMI: Imo Assembly Chief Whip flays PDP lawmakers over attacks on Speaker | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News
Okwara stated this while reacting to a statement issued by the Peoples Democratic Party caucus in the House led by the Minority Leader, Anyadike Nwosu, wherein they accused the Speaker of being incompetent to preside over the affairs of the Assembly.
He said: “He has been very articulate, humbly, accessible, and above all, dedicated to effective service delivery. His leadership dexterity and all-embracing nature is uncommon and commendable. “While it is common that anyone who feels aggrieved over certain House decisions as the case of the recent suspension will cry foul, it is also moral for them to do so by telling the public the truth.
“As far as I am concerned, they all know the truth and also know the right thing to do. Lying to the public or calling the governor or the Speaker names will not solve any problem.”
