The Osun State chapter of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, JONAPWD, has urged the state Governor, Ademola Adeleke to speedily implement the disability bill that has been signed into law. The call was made by the Osun JONAPWD chairman, Stephen Oluwafemi in a statement on Saturday.
Oluwafemi also commended Governor Adeleke for the speedily assent to the Disability Bill.
recalls that the Osun State House of Assembly had in May passed the Osun State Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities Prohibition Bill into law. The statement read: 'The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, , Osun State Chapter, commends the Osun State Government for signing the Disability Bill into law. 'This landmark achievement demonstrates the government’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
