The Ijaw National Congress, INC, worldwide has called on security agencies to carry out a thorough investigation to fish out the culprits responsible for the killings during the Ijaw Youth Congress, IYC, election.

This was contained in a press release signed by the National Publicity Secretary, INC Worldwide, Chief Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, on Monday. The release titled 'That Senseless Killings At Ijaw Youth Congress Elections Venue' reads: “The Ijaw National Congress INC worldwide condemn the killings in Abuloma on the 14th of September, during the Ijaw Youth Council elections, in the strongest possible terms. “The killings were not only gruesome but unwarranted, senseless and tragic.

ljaws are not known to be violent, particularly when, what were involved, elections are supposed to be a family affair. “Aside, it beats all reasonable imaginations that people who were supposed to be aspiring to serve the people turned around to massacre the same people in the most bestial manner. “The INC calls for calm while it expects the security agencies to do very thorough investigations and fish out the culprits.
