It said: “Ekweremadu has touched many lives in many ways through his scholarships, bursary awards, jobs, free local and foreign medical care and treatment, empowerment of all kinds, and provision of various infrastructure to make life easier for Nigerians. “We urge His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, and the Nigerian Senate, headed by Godswill Akpabio, to see how to secure the release. Senator Ike Ekweremadu is a good man and it will not be politically correct to allow him to rot in UK prison having served the nation wholeheartedly and dutifully in various capacities.
