At least 100 people have benefited from cash palliatives given out by the Igbo community in Cross River State.
N10,000 each was given to the beneficiaries comprising mainly the aged and sick to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said, “We are reaching out to 100 beneficiaries and our prayers for them are that whatever challenge they are facing today, it shall become a thing of the past in no time. Obi advised everyone to continually observe social distancing, wear face masks, embrace hand washing and do everything necessary to avoid COVID-19.
