The Nation Newspaper I won't disappoint you in FCT, Wike assures kinsmen
Wike spoke at the weekend as a special guest of honour during the 2024 Annual Cultural Day of the Ogbako Ikwerre Organisation Worldwide, the apex socio-cultural group of Ikwerre ethnic nationality.
The Minister affirmed that the organisation was instrumental in the 2023 general elections that brought the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to power. ” The politics of 2023 was time for serious decision-making as it affected the nation and Rivers State. It was a very difficult time, giving the position of his party, the People’s Democratic Party and its Presidential Candidate and the then Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress.
The President of the Organisation, Eze Godspower Onuekwa, commended the leadership of Ikwerre for using culture to ensure peace and development in the state and country.
