Nantes’ winger, Moses Simon, says he won’t give up on his dream to play in the English Premier League despite coming close to joining Brighton two years ago.
The Nigeria international has just finished an excellent season with the French Ligue 1 side, where he is on loan from La Liga side Levante.
The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Newcastle United, Liverpool and Brighton but was reportedly close to sealing a deal with The Seagulls but he opted to join Levante instead. He said, “It was very close, but I’m happy with my football. I will take my career as it comes. On the back of his impressive campaign in France, Nantes are keen on keeping Simon for at least another season, but the player has refused to shut the door on a move to the EPL.
