I later bagged a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School. By the time I finished my MBA, my orientation towards running a community practice was different and I wanted something bigger. Meanwhile, I had started importing goods from Korea. My husband, on the other hand, was an aviation consultant and over time, I changed my focus to aviation. I have been in this industry for over 20 years. Over the years, I have had to learn the ropes and understand the business.
One of the areas we are also looking into is the issue of packaging. A lot of people may think that we are talking about fancy bags but it is not. We are talking of having the right kind of cartons that would allow air to go into the vegetable so it does not get spoilt. Packaging also means having some corrugated insulators that would keep both processed and semi-processed foods at a temperature that does not allow them to get spoilt.
There have been many cases of missing or stolen luggage in Nigerian airports. How do you think that problem can be solved?
