Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde said he is poorer in terms of asset than he was in the last four years. Makinde said he has lost about 12 percent of the assets he declared in 2019. He said the loss was due to his inability to manage and focus on his personal businesses while governing Oyo State. Makinde spoke while fielding questions from reporters shortly after submitting his end of tenure asset declaration form and obtaining a fresh one for a second term in office at the Oyo State Office of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) on Friday. Despite the loss however, the Governor said he has no regret serving the State, assuring that the details of the loss and his new asset details will be made public soon.
