”I regret backing Atiku in 2019” – Fayose via politicsngr
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Atiku, the vice-president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo, ran unsuccessfully for President five times: in 1993, 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019.
Writing on his known Facebook page on Wednesday, Isaac Fayose, who is an open campaigner of Peter Obi, the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, accused Atiku of “trying to wrestle power from the present government in a foul way”. “With the way Atiku Abubakar and his goons in PDP in connivance with the wannabe cabals are trying to wrestle power from the present government in a foul way, making the people suffer for what is not , I make bold to say that I regretted backing him in 2019….never knew he’s this d*vilish,” Fayose wrote.
