Ejikeme Mmesoma, a student of Anglican Girls Secondary School, Nnewi, Anambra State, who was accused of inflating her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result, has stated that the same result was printed from the JAMB portal. SaharaReporters had reported on Monday that JAMB explained how it discovered that Mmesoma Ejikeme who paraded herself as the top scorer of the 2023 UTME forged her result. This was disclosed by JAMB spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin during an exclusive interview on Monday.

The examination body said its investigation revealed that Ejikeme manipulated a result belonging to a 2021 UTME candidate, named Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle, who scored 138 and edited it to 362 with her bio. Mmesoma said she was invited to the police station where her statement was taken, and she was told that investigation was ongoing.Tweet URL
