Labour Party's Deputy National Chairman (South), Bashir Apapa, denied being a mole within the party, challenging his critics to provide concrete evidence to prove their claim.
In a chat with The Guardian in Ibadan, Oyo State, he challenged his critics to back their claim with concrete evidence.
The opposition party has been embroiled in leadership crisis after a court ordered removal of its National Chairman, Julius Abure. Since then, Apapa, who is the Deputy National Chairman , said he is the next person to hold the office in acting capacity, pending Abure’s clearance. He said: “I am not a mole. I have said it many times. Anyone who claims that I am working for anyone to destroy Labour Party should come out with evidence.
“I am only fighting to entrench justice, instill sanity and uplift constitutionalism. Let Abure do the right thing.”
