Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, has reckoned that he doesn’t get enough credits despite being “the best in the world.”

Surrounded by a team of industry experts including Nigerian-British show promoter, Adesegun Adeosun Jnr, popularly known as Smade, and podcaster Adesope aka Shopsydoo, after a performance at the Afronation festival in Portugal, Burna Boy said he is not bothered about not getting enough credits because Jesus didn’t get his credits till after his death.

The ‘African Giant’ crooner in a viral video, said he appreciated the fact that people are testifying that he is the best musician in the world. In the video, Smade was heard saying; “Burna, you keep blessing us mehn. No, you don’t get your credits enough bro. You’re the f*cking best in the world.” Burna Boy reckoned: “No, I don’t [get enough credits]. Jesus also didn’t get his own credits till he died, so who am I? [Laughs]”“… because Jesus also didn’t get his own credits till he died, so who am I?” — Burna Boy. 🎯
