HURIWA, in a statement by Emmanuel Onwubiko, the National Coordinator called for the arrest of Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, overThe body noted that “feudalistic tendencies violate everything that is associated with constitutional democracy and the Rule of law” and urged Buhari to probe the matter if he wants any form of legacies to be bequeathed by his administration by the end of 2023.
HURIWA told the minister to resign, while chiding the Police Commissioner in Kwara State, Kayode Egbetokun, “for being used to commit the horrendous crime of hostage taking. The reported unlawful detention of two brothers and the wife of the journalist amounted to armed kidnapping which should be treated as such”.
