A CCTV images were released as part of a probe after a schoolgirl was attacked in busy gardens.
The man officers would like to speak to An urgent hunt for an attacker has launched after a schoolgirl was raped in busy city centre gardens. She was attacked on Friday, April 12 in the St John’s Gardens in Liverpool at about 1.50am. When officers attended the gardens just before 2am, they found the teenager who had been assaulted by an unknown male. The girl is being supported by specially trained officers. Now detectives have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
She said: ‘Our enquiries remain ongoing and we have issued CCTV images of a man we believe could assist us. ‘We would encourage the man, or anyone who recognises him, to contact us as a matter of urgency. ‘It is important that people who live, work and socialise in Liverpool city centre feel safe and we will hope that our high visibility patrols will assist with that.
