She said the outreach was tailored such that it not only provided medical care for those in need of it, but also educated the people in health issues.Nwatu said: “This year’s medical rhapsody is a unique one, as we intend to also have health talks and medical checks because oftentimes we discover illness that even individuals within the community are not aware of and we intend to start early treatment as well as ensure that we reduce mortality of individuals within the society.
“We will be carrying out medical checks such as eye test, blood pressure, vital sign checks and also take complaints of everybody present as well as distribution of palliatives to members of the community.” The monarch, who announced that an e-library was underway in the community, said it was being executed in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy.
