Outlining the health hazards of not having access to clean water, Elakanma said: “The major hazard that comes with non-access to potable water is the decline in health and sanitation. Without access to clean water, citizens become more susceptible to ill health, and the country will become more prone to waterborne diseases. Secondly, there will be a likelihood of food shortage, which can lead to famine.
On what Lasena is doing to ensure its water is safe for drinking, he said the organization’s number one priority is to provide clean, natural, alkaline water to Nigerians. He said, “Our number one priority is to provide clean, natural, Alkaline water to Nigerians and the world over. We make sure that our quality standard is never compromised, no matter what the situation may be. Our Quality Assurance team is equipped with cutting-edge operational equipment utilised in checking and maintaining a standard of quality for our water before production commences every day. We also go a step further to educate consumers on the importance of drinking quality water.
