Nigerian singer, producer and composer, Eruz, has revealed how he got signed to his new record label, KV Worldwide. The Benue State-born artiste, while giving details of how his encounter with Kolo Vibe came to be, said his good use of social media and his career development made it possible for his current boss, Benjamin Chinwike, to take note of his melodious tone.

“I used to make music cover on social media for some of our top music celebrities, it was from one of the covers I did that my present boss, I mean CEO of KV Worldwide saw me, he chatted me up and I eventually got signed to the label,” he said. “For now, it’s still in the bag, when it is time, I will sure make it public.

Speaking on how music started for him, professionally, he said, “I actually started music at the age of 12, then, I was in primary school and my mum was in church choir, she used to carry me along, that was how I started loving music. After my junior secondary school, I recorded my first song when I was in JSS1, immediately after that, I decided to take music to another whole level, then I met DJ Loxy he actually taught me production, how to mix and master.

Real name, Gabriel Eru Ochim, also highlighted some of his uniqueness and plans to make a change in Africa through his music. “Well, I believe the sky is big enough for everyone. I have my own space and I’m sure no one can cover it for me. I’m sure coming with my own style that’s for sure, I will take the Nigerian music industry by surprise. I’m not sure they are ready for what is about to hit them.
