How female teacher allegedly defiled four-year-old pupil in Lagos – Police tells court
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the teacher, Violet Emu, who resides on Ogbene Chike Street, Isashi, Lagos, is facing a charge of sexual assault to a child, contrary to Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.Led in evidence by prosecution counsel, Mr Abiodun Alagbe, the sergeant attached to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, said that the police obtained a voluntary statement from the defendant during an investigation.
“According to the victim, she refused but her aunty opened her legs by force and put her fingers into her vagina. Idowu said that she visited the school during the investigation to make enquiries about the alleged assault from other teachers.“I spoke to some teachers in the school and they told me they did not know anything about it,’’ the witness said.
