As cholera spreads across the country, residents of some communities in the Abuja Municipal Council battling a raging cholera outbreak say that lack of access to potable water and inadequate health infrastructure remain a major hindrance to curbing the disease. LARA ADEJORO, who visited the communities, reports:
Gradually, she began to regain her strength and as of 10 am on Monday, Salvation was on her 12th drip. “People come here from other neighbouring communities for treatment because they do not have access to any health centre,” a staff at the clinic, Mr. Shadrach Doggo said.
