How Benue pensioners slept outside government house for 7 days
Pensioners in Benue State laid siege on the government house in Makurdi for one week to demand the payment of their pension arrears and gratuity which brought to the fore many unresolved pension issues in the state.Grace Terkimbi, owed 22 months entitlement, was among the angry pensioners who travelled long distances to Makurdi, the Benue State capital, to lay siege on the Government House in a seven-day sit-out protest to demand for their unpaid pension.
