Homer will no longer strangle his son Bart in 'The Simpsons,' the show announced in an episode released on Oct. 22.
In the episode, Homer Simpson shook hands when meeting his new neighbor who then said Homer had 'quite a grip.'Homer then joked to his wife Marge, 'See, Marge, strangling the boy has paid off. Just kidding. I don't do that anymore.
'Later adding, 'Times have changed!'Homer strangling Bart is one of the longest-running gags in the show and has been featured in episodes since 1989.Homer stated that he does not strangle Bart anymore, and he actually has not strangled him in years. The last time Homer was seen strangling his son was in season 31 which aired from 2019 to 2020.
