The statement comes after death toll from Monday’s Israeli strikes on Lebanon rose to 274, with 1,024 people wounded, according to the Lebanese health minister.
reports that Israel’s military launched the most intensive airstrikes in Lebanon since 2006 in what it said were Hezbollah targets. “I promised to change the security balance, the balance of power in the north - this is exactly what we’re doing,” Netanyahu said on Monday at a meeting in the headquarters of the Israel Defense Forces . “We’re dismantling thousands of rockets and missiles aimed at Israeli cities and citizens,” he added.
