Bintang Tottenham Hotspur berusia 27 tahun itu menyertai kem latihan marin Korea Selatan di Selatan Pulau Jeju di mana dia akan melengkapkan sesi latihan asas ketenteraan.
Heung-min mendapat pelepasan selepas memenangi pingat emas bersama skuad kebangsaan pada Sukan Asia 2018 tetapi bersedia untuk menjalani latihan jangka masa pendek ketika ini.
