In a message to families from Principal Wendy Hampton, a statement read: "We want to inform you that our campus received a bomb threat this afternoon. Campus and district leaders initiated our emergency response protocols. Our campus was placed on secure mode.
Police responded immediately, investigated the threat, and assessed the interior and perimeter of the campus. All students and staff were safe throughout the event, and PD determined the threat was not credible. Please know the safety of our students is our absolute top priority."---------------------Heights High School is under secure mode at this time following a reported bomb threat, according to reports.Details are limited, but the Houston Police Department said the call came in around 12:55 p.m. as a caller reported a bomb threat.
