Netizens were divided over the latest update— as customers were welcomed not only with a fresh interface, but also with a 'weight safety check.'
Ride-hailing firm Angkas recently refined its mobile application, with improvements and features seen to satisfy the government’s new guidelines on motorcycle safety.
Angkas users will be asked to provide their weight range— so as to match him or her with the right biker. “We don’t judge, we just want to ensure the safety of both you and our bikers,” read the app, which also assured that the passenger's information will be kept private.
