Heavily armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace at Kofar Kudu, restricting both entry and exit. This deployment is a result of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II's efforts to install his newly appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, in Bichi. Meanwhile, Bichi Emir's Palace is also under tight security, following recent political developments and the National Chairman of APC's stance on the validity of the Bichi Emirate Council.

Heavily armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace at Kofar Kudu, restricting both entry and exit from the premises. The deployment of security to the palace was a result of moves by Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II to install his newly appointed Wamban Kano , District Head of Bichi.
