The players of Heartland, FC IfeanyiUbah and Sunshine Stars are being owed outstanding salaries by their Nigerian Professional Football League clubs,A Heartland defender, who spoke on condition of ano

nymity, told The PUNCH that they were owed outstanding salaries for December 2019, March and April 2020 respectively.

“It’s true they are owed salaries but there are plans to pay these players before next week,” our source said.also gathered that Sunshine Stars and IfeanyiUbah players were owed three months salaries as well. Players of Sunshine Stars had their January salary slashed, contrary to their contract agreement and are yet to be paid for the months of March and April.
