Unknown gunmen stormed Odu community in the Udege development area in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and killed a traditional ruler, Mr. Amos Ewa Obere.
, revealed that the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday around 10 pm.
Our correspondent further learnt that the diseased before his untimely death was a retired Assistant Superintendent of Police and also the ward head of his community and other surrounding villages. Also confirming the incident to our correspondent, the pioneer chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Nasarawa State, Mr. Joel Ogapa, who held from the area, described as most unfortunate.
