Gunmen murder Delta CDHR Chairman’s elder brother
The incident occurred at about 4 pm in Edjophe Community, the hometown of the Delta State Attorney-General, Mr. Peter Mrakpor Esq in Ughelli South Local Government Area,DAILY POST can report.
The gunshots scared residents as they scampered for safety but the gunmen shot the deceased and visitor who sat with his friend in front of his compound in the area.DAILY POST gathered that the deceased earlier visited his younger brother, Prince Kehinde-Taiga, CDHR Chairman before going to check on his friend simply identified as Asatweh when the incident occurred.
Taiga, however, called on the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Adeyinka Adeleke to ensure that, “The perpetrators are arrested and prosecuted to give his brother justice.” He said, “We need CSP Anieteh Eyoh, an operational DPO in Ovwian/Aladja and CSP Doyen in Otu-Jeremi. We don’t want an administrative DPO here. Ovwian/Aladja and Otu-Jeremi is now the hideout of cultists and it is giving us serious concerns.”
