The soldiers were killed on Monday by gunmen who were reportedly enforcing the sit-at-home order in the South-East states. One of the two people killed was said to be a police officer on duty when the hoodlums attacked the station.

Voices in the background of the video identified one of the bodies as that of a policeman while it is not clear whether the second person was a policeman or not. Some voices identified the two victims as policemen, but another person said he could only identify one of them as a policeman attached to the station.However, in another viral video, the bodies of the slain soldiers were displayed.
