The Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the killings
He alleged that the miscreants were members of the Dey-gbam cult group who escaped from the community and later regrouped to launch the onslaught.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the killings, saying it was a clash between two rival gangs. Iringe-Koko, a Superintendent of Police said though no arrest has been made, an investigation was ongoing to apprehend the culprits. Iringe-Koko stated,” No arrest for now but the Commissioner of Police has deployed the tactical team to the area and urged them to ensure the hoodlums are apprehended and made to face the law.
