A security man has been shot dead by unknown gunmen who attacked and burnt the office of Independent National Electoral Commission in Enugu. The office located at Amechi Awkunanaw in Enugu South Local Council of the state, and very close to the residence of former governor, Jim Nwobodo was attacked late Sunday night. The…A security man has been shot dead by unknown gunmen who attacked and burnt the office of Independent National Electoral Commission in Enugu.
The statement said that report of the incident, was made by the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Enugu State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Chukwu. “The State Commissioner of Police and the REC were personally at the scene immediately they received information about the attack. “The Commission prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased policeman and the speedy recovery of the injured.”
