The Police in Kaduna have confirmed an attack on Kankara General Hospital, Kaduna which left a doctor and another health worker with gunshot wounds.Aliyu Abubakar, the commissioner of Police in Kaduna State while condemning the attack described it as senseless and unacceptable.

In a statement issued by the Kaduna police spokesperson, Abubakar Sadiq, the CP said the bandits attacked the hospital on Tuesday, January 14. However, Sadiq said that a team of police officers were immediately mobilised to the scene of the incident where a gun battle ensued with the bandits.
